Mussel Vessel - Small

The small black Marcel bowl by Wouters & Hendrix for Serax is a porcelain bowl shaped like a mussel. Its name refers to Belgian artist Marcel Broodthaers, whose work famously transformed the everyday mussel into art. The surreal design also plays on the collection name Les Objets Mouleversants, combining objets bouleversants with moules, the French word for mussels.
